Description: Section 1 Description of Item: Navy Recruiting Orientation Unit, located in Pensacola, FL is in need of 1500 Each SPRI� Xertube in various colors and weighted resistances. We request 500 EA light, 500 EA medium, and 500 EA heavy rubber sleeved resistance exercise bands with handles to use in physical training required at the Navy Recruiting Orientation Unit. The product must come in 3 different resistance levels (light, medium, and heavy) and be covered with a rubber sleeve (nylon is not an acceptable replacement). The rubber sleeve helps maintain the integrity of the resistance band against abrasion which will lead to premature failure of the product. Navy Recruiting Command has a nine-year commitment, through education and utilization at the Navy Orientation Recruiting Unit (NORU), to the Navy Operational Fitness and Fueling Series (NOFFS) a resourced and approved fitness program. Resistance bands are a fundamental aspect of NOFFS. NOFFS has been taught through classroom instruction and practical application to students at Navy Recruiting Orientation Unit, Pensacola for nine years. The NOFFS system is the Navy approved physical training program that Recruiters are communicating and performing in the Delayed Entry Program with Future Sailors in order to prepare them physically for Recruit Training Command (Boot Camp).
