Description

The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (CPD-C&P2) is seeking qualified sources to perform dockside repairs of the USCGC WAESCHE a 418 foot National Security Cutter home ported at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. The planned period of performance will be on or about 30 November 2020 through 22 February 2021. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated for award. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Cutter's home port at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION � None Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Glide Slope Indicator Hoses, Renew Tanks (Potable Water), Clean and Inspect Frequency Converter (400 Hz), Load Test, Perform Relief Valves, Inspect And Test Piping and Machinery Insulation, Renew Galley Grease Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect And Test Gas Turbine Module Fixed CO2 Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect And Test Heptafluoropropane (HFP) Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect and Test Water Mist Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect And Test Steering System Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Inspect & Service Cargo Handling Elevator, Inspect and Repair Anchor Windlass Flexible Hoses, Renew Perform Forward and Aft Capstans, Level 1 Overhaul Dual Point Davit, Biennial Maintenance, Perform Folding Boom Cranes, Biennial Maintenance, Perform Incinerator Clean, Inspect and Test Tanks (Grey Water), Clean and Inspect Vacuum Collection Holding Tank, Clean and Inspect Oily Water Separator (OWS) System, Inspect and Groom Tanks (Potable Water), Preserve �Partial�-Optional Tanks (Grey Water), Preserve �Partial�-Optional Vacuum Collection Holding Tank, Preserve �Partial�-Optional Bulkhead and/or Overhead Insulation, Renew Temporary Services, Provide � Home Pier Deck Covering (Polymeric), Renew Surfaces, Preserve Ventilation Ducting, Clean and Inspect Quick-Acting Watertight Doors, Replace Tenting, Provide Deck Covering (Slip-Resistant), Renew Tank Level Indicators (Grey Water Tanks) and sounding Tube, Remove Tank Level Indicator (Grey Water Tanks), Install Interested parties must submit the following: Company name, business size status (i.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) � Capability to perform work similar to the above work items. � �Past performance information to demonstrate successful completion as a prime contractor of projects similar in scope and complexity to the work items above.
