Reduce crown fire risk, spot fire potential and surface fire intensity in short needle stands by the means of mechanical and hand thinning, pile burning, and mastication. Utilize Timber or other products (public firewood) Provide wood resource to forest product industry. Nutrient recycling in long-needle pine beds.
