- Description
- The Air Force seeks to migrate and modernize multiple current legacy tools with a single sign-on, cloud-based solution using a low code/no code approach. Currently multiple tools (see Current Legacy Tools section below) are used for executing AFIS activities. These tools were not originally designed to be enterprise solutions and do not meet current user requirements. A single sign-on, cloud-based solution system using a low code/no code approach will reduce duplication of effort, minimize manual data extraction and manipulation, improve data quality and analyst responsiveness, and improve Commander situational awareness while increasing IG efficiency in meeting Legal, Regulatory, and Policy (LRP) requirements. Within this RFI, the term low-code/no-code is shorthand for the class of software that includes platforms known in the marketplace and analyst community as one or more the following as identified by Gartner: Business Process/Business Rule/Decision Management Systems (BPMS/BRMS/DMS) Multi-experience Development Platforms (MXDP) Low-code Application Platforms (LCAP)
