Description: provide site preparation in support of future planting of tree seedlings by directionally felling dead trees and cutting and piling of dead non-sprouting manzanita in order to provide improved planting opportunities for the future tree seedlings. Dead limbs from trees and non-sprouting manzanita will be piled for future burning by the Forest Service. An optional item is included involving the grubbing of annual grasses in order to create areas for future tree seedlings to be planted in the spring of 2021.
