Description
Construction Project: The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed-price. The Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, proposes to repair a portion of the Grays Harbor Westport Marina Breakwater �A� located in Westport, WA.� Work includes procurement, delivery and placement of new core rock and armor stone layers in all repair areas, excavation of material behind the sea wall and placement of quarry spalls in Repair Area 1, and reworking/rearranging existing relic stone in all repair areas. The repair areas are Repair Area 1 (Sta. 0+00 to Sta. 2+50), Repair Area 2 (Sta. 2+50 to Sta. 5+00) and Repair Area 3 (Sta. 5+00 to Sta. 6+50).� The volume of Armor stone to be placed is approximately 2,300 tons and Quarry Spalls to be placed is approximately 800 tons.�� See the solicitation for details about bid submission and virtual bid opening.
