Description

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.� REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.�� This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential manufacturing sources and to determine if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside.� This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research.� Scope of Services:� The contractor will provide an automated hematology analyzer capable of performing a complete blood count with automated six part differential, red blood cell indices, automated reticulocyte count, and platelet estimates on routine patient samples (including adult and pediatric samples).� The analyzer must be able to keep up with a workload of approximately 9,500 tests per year.���Contract Term: Base + 4 Option Years. �Provide Supplies and Services. Maintenance and Service:� The contractor will provide in writing the schedule for routine maintenance to include on-site calibration and service on all covered equipment.� Contractor will also provide an on-call emergency troubleshooting/repair hotline, with on-site repair technicians dispatched within one business day of contact.
