Description

The Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Vessel Replacement Collars, Bow Covers and Bladder Sets for the 64� Escort Boats. Vessel replacement collars and associated parts (collar components) for the 64� Escort Boats are the sole intellectual property and proprietary to Cryogenic Plastics, Inc. CPI is the proprietary owner of the jig and design and the only manufacturer of these collars and components. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price. An award notice will be publicized. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received by 12:00PM (EST) 24 April 2020 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
