- Description
- This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) � solicting from a single source . The applicable NAICS Code is 561621, Security Systems Services.� The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) � Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: ����������������������� Kastle Systems LLC ����������������������� 602 Arlington Blvd, ������������������������Falls Church, VA 22042 The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of� FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisf the agency requirements. This requirement is to provide additional security surveillance for H&S Battalion buidling. The facility has existing and prefitted Kastle Security Systems software and equipment. The requested additional surveilliance will be an add-on which will be intergrated with the existing security systems and software from Kastle Systems LLC. In order to maintain security integrity the additional security equipment and support services must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, function) with the existing systems presently installed. DURATION: Procurement planning for the follow-on effort is currently in process. The contract is for a period of a base year from 11 August 2020 through 10 August 2021with two (2) one (1) year options� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to jacqueline.ambala@usmc.mil no later than 07 August 2020, 03:00 p.m. Eastern Time.� Late responses will not be considered.
