- Notice of Intent to Sole Source The 14th Contracting Squadron, 495 Harpe Blvd, Suite 256C, Columbus AFB, MS 39710 intends to solicit and award a fixed price requirements, sole source contract to UFA Inc. (UFA). The purpose of the order is to provide all management, labor, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and other items necessary to complete the installation of the ATSuite software. During this initial set-up period, the contractor shall ensure the Columbus AFB Airfield Operations Flight is completely operational. Upon completion of the set-up, the contractor will provided upgrade service, troubleshooting, and support for the remaining one (1) year on the contract. This purchase is for a commercial item/service and will be made using FAR 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR 13.5. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, interested contractors may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to meet the requirement via e-mail to Amy Davis, Contract Specialist, amy.davis.18@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer, Thomas Buena at thomas.buena@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 PM CST�5 August 2020. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
