- The Office of Information Technology (IT), Technology Solutions Division (TSD) is the component of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) responsible for the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of a broad range of transportation vetting programs designed to protect the U. S. transportation system against terrorism. Transportation Vetting System (TVS) is a mission critical system which operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. TVS continuously (recurrently) vets approximately 21 million individuals in 39 populations occupying a position of ""insider"" trust against government watchlists. The system retains all subject and watchlist records to perform recurrent vetting, a mechanism which immediately alerts users when record updates or additions cause system discovery of biographic matches. Transportation Vetting System�s (TVS) objective is to access scheduled flight data so that analysts can track trends and changes in commercial airline schedules, routes, frequencies and passenger capacity during the period of performance of the awarded contract. The worldwide scheduled flight data subscription services will be used to improve the effectiveness of TSA�s biographic matching system and vetting capabilities. TVS program requires data for all scheduled commercial passenger and cargo flights worldwide. The scope of this contract is limited to the flight data itself. TVS will ingest and process the flight data; therefore, software applications that provide flight data will not meet the technical requirements.
