- Description
- The US Army Corp of Engineers, Kansas City District, has a need for Construction Activities for work to repair a slide on the slope of the downstream embankment near the Stilling Basin. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, operators, supervisors/site superintendent, quality control, supplies, materials, and incidentals necessary to satisfactorily perform and provide construction to potentially include, but not limited to earthwork operators. At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a Pre-solicitation Conference, the pre-solicitation announcement will be modified accordingly. There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation. The details will be included in the solicitation. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARs 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is: between $250,000 and $500,000.00. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and evaluated in accordance with FAR 14.1 based on Price. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Bid Bonds shall be in the amount of 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is the lesser of the two values. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. Bids will be due the day and time specified in the solicitation. We anticipate release of the solicitation within the next 30-40 days, to ensure you do not miss this notice we recommend contractors register as interested vendors. If you register as interested you will get an email anytime anything is posted regarding to this action, including when the actual solicitation is posted. ��������������������������������� �The solicitation will be available on or about 4 August 2020 and bids will be due on or about 4 September 2020. �The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. This procurement will be a competitive small business set a-side with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 237990- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction., with a size standard of $36.5 million. ��� To view or download the solicitation requires registration at the beta.sam.gov website at http://beta.sam.gov and\or www.ProjNet.Org. Downloads may also be available only through the Projnet.Org website depending on complexity and size of plans. Any amendments will be available on beta.sam.gov. Bidders are responsible for checking the beta.sam.gov and ProjNet websites frequently for any update(s) to this Pre-solicitation Announcement or Amendments to the Solicitation. If at the time of award an offeror is not successfully and actively registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror.
