Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of clearing, grubbing and vegetation removal; excavation for new drainage canal, placement of uncompacted embankment and compacted embankment; construction of access ramps; placement of two floodgates; placement of access roads and utility modifications; placing geotextile and surfacing material, drainage pipeline and sewer force main, turf establishment; maintenance of access roads; asphaltic pavement; canal construction, and other incidental work. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications are available on the beta.sam web page at https://beta.sam.gov/ under Solicitation W912P820B0043 (see Attachments section). Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (amendments) to posted solicitations. Issue date: 03 June 2020; bid opening date and time: 07 July 2020; 2:00 PM CDT. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. It is issued under NAICS Code 237990, and FSC CODE: Y1PZ, for a firm fixed-price contract.
