- ****Update 31 July: Site Vist Minutes and Sign in Sheet Posted**** Project Number and Title VGLZ202030 Repair Roof B/894 & B/895 Location: Selfridge Air National Guarld Base MI Set-aside: 100% Small Business NAICS CODE 238160 Roofing Contractors w ith a small business size standard of 16,500,000) Project Magnitude: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference to be conducted on 30 July 2020 at 2:00 PM local time. (See Solicitation for Access Requirements) Award will be made to the responsible bidder w hose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS: ""Funds are not presently available for this contract. Currently the government anticipates funds w ill become available but no later than midnight 30 SEP 2020. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for aw ard iffunds become available and the prices received are w ithin the aw ardable range."" PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall remove the existing built-up roof system down to the structural deck, including the removal of the gravel stop.� The Contractor shall also install a new roof to include a fully adhered 90-mil EPDM membrane roof over fully adhered tapered insulation (1/8� per foot minimum) to provide positive drainage to the gutters. EPDM is to extend a minimum of 8� up the vertical face of the concrete dividing wall, which traverses the spine of the structure. Provide drip edge and counter flashing as required. It is expected that the existing copper counter-flashing, gutters, and downspouts can be reused.� The Lightening Protection System on the rooftop of each building shall be removed as needed to facilitate roofing activities, re installed, and re certified.
