Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to initiate a Request for Quote to provide a new diesel electric hybrid vessel for the New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The new vessel will be used by the District in support of its drift collection and emergency response missions. The principal dimensions of the vessel are: ����������������������� Length Overall���������������������������������������������� 148�-0� ����������������������� Beam Overall�������������������������������������������������� 39�-0� ����������������������� Molded Depth (@ midship)�������������������������� � 15�-6� ����������������������� Design Draft���������������������������������������������������� � 9�-0� ����������������������� Air Draft (from 9�-0� waterline)������������������� � 59�-3� This hybrid power system will be supplied as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the Contractor for integration and installation on the vessel.� The hybrid propulsion system designer will coordinate and assist the shipyard in termination and testing the hybrid propulsion components. The Contractor shall deliver the vessel afloat and ready for service at the following location: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers U.S. Army Engineer District, New York Caven Point Marine Terminal 3 Chapel Ave - Jersey City, NJ 07305 F.O.B. Destination. Bonding, warranty and liquidated damages will be required for this procurement. There are no options associated with this requirement. The solicitation number W912BU20Q0025, will be available for downloading from Beta.Sam on or about�12 August 2020. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests will not be accepted. The official media of distribution for this RFP is the Beta.Sam website. Contractors may download the solicitation (including any drawings) and any amendments via the Beta.Sam website at beta.sam.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the website for any amendments. Offerors are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award as required by FAR 4.1102.
