- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M2-20-Q-NCNT0275 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07.� �� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �� The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Center for Oceanographic and Operational Products and Services (CO-OPS) has a requirement for two (2) fiberglass equipment enclosures in accordance with the attached Specifications.� The required�delivery is within 90 days of the receipt of the order.� Delivery shall be to Seattle, WA.� The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. Quote shall include all costs associated with the requirement unless otherwise indicated on the vendor�s quote.� This RFQ is 100% set aside for small business concerns.� The associated NAICS code is 326199, All Other Plastics Product Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 750 employees. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and; Provide a technical description of the product being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary. Submit no more than three (3) past performance references similar in size and scope to this requirement and completed or in progress within the last three years. �All questions must be submitted in writing to lynne.phipps@noaa.gov by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on August 11, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on August 21, 2020 via Email to lynne.phipps@noaa.gov. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government does not accept responsibility for non-receipt of quotes. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to request and receive a confirmation of the quote receipt.
