- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong, CA intends to issue a solicitation for the following item:� 1 Lighting Inverter. The NAICS code for this requirement is 335999.� The contract type is a firm-fixed price.� The Government will award based on price and past performance. �Please quote on brand name or equal to the specifications included. If quoting on item equal to the specs, the quoter must include specifications for the item being quoted on. Estimated Date of Award is August 21, 2020. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at https://www.sam.gov.� All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The due date is August 18, 2020, 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the beta SAM web site https://beta.sam.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Submission of Quotes Quotes shall be submitted on or before the quote deadline specified in Block 8 of the Standard Form 1449, page 1 of this solicitation.� Quotes shall be submitted to the following address: FCI Herlong Attn: Jeanine Hamilton, Supervisory Contract Specialist 741-925 Herlong Access Rd A25 P.O. Box 900 Herlong, CA 96113 �OR �Email:� Her/Quotes@bop.gov Mailed and hand-carried quotes must be delivered to the Contracting Officer at the address shown above no later than the time specified as the deadline for receipt of quotes.� The official point of receipt for hand-carried quotes will be at the front lobby area of the address listed above.� Emailed quotes will be accepted in .pdf format only and will be deemed received at the time received as indicated on the email notification. �Emails rejected by filters are not the responsibility of the government.� Quotes received after the quote deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f).� No faxed quotes will be accepted.
