- Description
- This NOTICE OF INTENT is for the procurement of Calibration Standards (CALSTDs) ancillary equipment in support of Aviation Fleet Intermediate Calibration Activities, Fleet Training Activities, Aviation Navy Calibration Laboratories (NCLs), and Metrology Calibration (METCAL) program Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR). This requirement is advertised as SOLE SOURCE. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, on a sole source basis, to Pratt & Whitney Measurement Systems, Inc. 66 Douglas Street, Bloomfield, CT 06002-3619 for this procurement. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition. The requirement will include the following:� Labmaster Universal Measuring Equipment (Qty 7) This procurement of LABMASTER Universal will provide laser-based Universal Measuring System for high accuracy ID/OD gage calibration and wide range of specialty applications.
