Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting Office (CCAM-ALC), Corpus Christi, TX is issuing a notice of intent to sole source as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Whereas Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). This is not a request for proposals or quotes. PURPOSE: Notice of Government�s intent to sole source the Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment to Mid-Coast Electric Supply, San Antonio, TX. This action requires a specific product from Allen Bradley to maintain full functionality, compatibility, and capability of the existing software performs with the HMI touch screens. The Government will not reimburse participants for any information they provide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Industrial Automation & Software Development Branch is in need of 20 each Allen Bradley Panel View Plus 7 Standard 700 touch screens (model AB-2711PT7C21D8S). SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Thursday, August 18, 2020. No telephone requests will be honored.
