- �FEDBIZOPPS NOTICE OF INTENT FOR SOLE SOURCE: The United States Coast Guard intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Flash Technology, LLC, 332 Nichol Mill LN, Franklin, TN 37067-8203. This procurement is for the acquisition of a sole source supply using simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 335129 � Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing, with a business size standard of $500 employees. a. Only one responsible source and no other item will satisfy the USCG requirement. b. Only the Flash Technology light will be accepted at this time.� Flash Technology, Sabik Marine is the only authorized light to be installed on Kewalo Basin Light. Sabik Marine is the only authorized PEL-4 Directional light authorized for the Coast Guard and� has the capability for use as an Aid to Navigation for vessel coming in and out of Kewalo Harbor Honolulu, HI. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. DO NOT submit a bid/quote at this time. Any qualified source may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by this agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received NLT 11:59 am Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on 14 August 2020. Responses received after this will be considered late IAW FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Responses are required to be sent email to jesse.l.kesolei@uscg.mil. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this announcement. Contractors must have a current registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract processed IAW FAR 13.
