- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) (the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available) intends to award a sole source modification to incumbent BOISE SHOULDER CLINIC, P.A. for the following services: Orthopedic Shoulder Services for the Boise VA Medical Center, Boise, ID, 10/1/2020 3/31/2020. NAICS 621111 Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) applies. This sole source modification will exercise Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which was in the original solicitation and contract but was not evaluated as part of the initial competition. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company already has shoulder surgeons credentialed and privileged by Boise VA Medical Center with security clearances to be able to start services on 10/1/2020. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:30 pm on August 20, 2020.
