- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Procurement Section, intends to issue a sole source award to Red Wire Technology for the procurement, development, and sustainment of specialized tools required to meet identified mission essential needs. �Red Wire is the only company that has existing capability to meet these mission gaps.� This special notice will serve as the only notification of this contract action.� The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.� However, parties may submit their interest and capabilities for future similar requirements by written response no later than Monday, August 25, 2020, 5:00PM EST, via email to Michelle Yates at myates@fbi.gov. Responses sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered.
