- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,� as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-2033148 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-08, Effective 08/13/2020.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113,Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a small business size standard size of 750 employees. This requirement is NOT set-aside for small business. This is a brand-name requirement. Project Background: The Center for Human Immunology (CHI) is in the process of developing an advanced flow cytometry panel that can analyze rare cells from complex cellular suspensions or isolated from blood. To this extent, we are using a BD FACSymphony instrument, that will allow us to increase the number of dimension we characterize the immunome. The CHI requires the use of small scale evaluation antibodies. This instrument is detects 50 colors out of 5 LASERs and 5 Decagon Detector. Detecting up to 50 colors, allows the concomitant characterization of cell phenotype as well as cell function by cell surface and intracellular cytokine staining, and bringing high dimension analysis of single cells data.
