Description: Fort Hood currently has a Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) Wastewater Permit and a TPDES Storm Water Permit requiring that both routine (weekly) and non-routine (periodic or emergency) water samples must be collected and analyzed. In addition, soils, sediments, sludge and other solid and semi-solid materials are collected periodically for testing for a wide variety of constituents as well as physical and/or chemical properties.
