- This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) to determine the availability of potential sources for of Layher Scaffolding parts which support Trident Refit Facility (TRF) Submarine Refits . A brand-name justification is expected to be issued. Contractor is to provide� the following in accordance with the draft Description of Requirements and manufacturer's specifications: 100 each, Part number 3880150B, Steel Plank 4�-11� x 11� 100 each, Part number 3880200B, Steel Plank 6�-6� x 11� 100 each, Part number 3880250B, Steel Plank 8�-2� x 11� 50 each, Part number 0723281B, Adjustable Steel Plank 6 each, Part number 5105085B, Tube Pallet 85 A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Additional detailed information is provided on the attached Description of Requirements. As part of its market research, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of contractors capable of fulfillingthe Government�s requirements. The Government may use the responses to this notice for information and planning purposes. The SOW describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of service and may vary from the work scope in a final SOW included in any future Request for Quotes (RFQ). Offerors possessing the requisite skills, resources and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via the submission of a capability statement and details of the services offered. Please restrict all responses to nonproprietary information. Submissions should include the following information: (1) Company name, address, POC name, phone number, fax number and email address; (2) Contractor CAGE Code; (3) Business size - Large Business, Small Business, 8(a) participant, HUBZone, Women-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned; (4) Salient characteristics of the services offered, in accordance with the attached SOW. Submissions are not to exceed 10 pages in length. All technical questions and inquiries may be submitted with the response. All submissions are required to be submitted via email to Ken Brown at kenneth.b.brown4@navy.mil no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time on the response date listed in this posting.
