- SOLICIATION DUE DATE EXTENDED SEE BELOW THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION.� This announcement constitutes only one solicitation (See attached Solicitation 1204T020Q0070).��Quotations are being requested and a Return Packet�is attached for offerors to return.** This construction project�is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns.� The NAICS code associated with this acquisition is 238990 and the small business size standard for that code is $16.5 million average receipts over the past three years. THE GOVERNMENT�S ESTIMATE is between $25,000 and $100,000.� A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. DESCRIPTION: The Base Item project includes all labor and materials required to construct a new perimeter fence around an existing seed orchard on the Willamette National Forest.� This project will require removal and disposal of the existing fencing and gates,�brushing along the fence line (Site Preparation), installing new fence posts with agricultural type woven mesh along the perimeter and two new double swing gates for vehicle access. The new fence is intended to prevent larger wildlife from entering the orchard and damaging the trees.� An Optional/Alternative Item (based on funding availability) is for the installation of�galvanized steel posts and stress panels with post clamps and wire fasteners as an alternate to wooden posts and stress panels and wood fasteners in the Base Bid. Only one bid item will be awarded, either the Base Item or Alternative Item. �Mobilization, Site Preparation, new fence layout, length, height, agricultural type woven mesh and two new double swing gates would remain the same for both�quoted items.� The Alternate�Item option will provide a fence with a longer service life. LOCATION: Located on the McKenzie River District, from Springfield Oregon travel east on Oregon State Highway 126 for approximately 60 miles to FS Road 2653 (Boulder Cr.) Turn right onto Road 2653 and travel approximately 4.2 miles to FS Road 2657. Turn left onto Road 2657, Pebble 1 Seed Orchard is located on the right. LICENSING:� The Offeror shall have the proper licensing to perform work in the State of Oregon at the time of quote.
