Description

**AMENDMENT 0002�FOR THIS SOLICITATION IS HEREBY POSTED AND ISSUED AS OF THURSDAY, 27�AUG 2020** Location: Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX: �Total Small Business Set Aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) This project is to repair/replace the Fire Suppression Systems in Buildings 323, 431, 441, and 443 at the Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, Texas. Work shall include but is not necessarily limited to the following: Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Location 1 - This project is for the replacement of the Fire Suppression Systems in B323 at the RRAD, Texarkana, Texas. Work shall include but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1) Replacement of Fire Suppression System in Building 323. 2) Fire pump required as part of the design.� 3) Replacement shall include PI valve (and any work required to replace the PI valve), include all pipe, components, installation and painting. Fire Suppression System piping (above ground) shall be appropriately primed and painted red (no 11105, Safety Red) in accordance with MIL-STD-101 and ASME (ANSI) A13.1 codes when visible, but when the pipe would not be typically visible it may be appropriately marked/banded. The complete system shall be painted or marked/banded as indicated above. Location 2 - This project is for the replacement of the Fire Suppression Systems in B431 at the RRAD, Texarkana, Texas. Work shall include but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1) Replacement of Fire Suppression System in Building 431. 2) Fire pump is not required but a riser room shall be added to the building. 3) New drop ceiling is required. 4) Replacement shall include Post Indicator (PI) valve (and any work required to replace the PI valve). Fire Suppression System piping (above ground) shall be appropriately primed and painted red (no 11105, Safety Red) in accordance with MIL-STD-101 and ASME (ANSI) A13.1 codes when visible, but when the pipe would not be typically visible it may be appropriately marked/banded. The complete system shall be painted or marked/banded as indicated above. Location 3 - This project is for the replacement of the Fire Suppression Systems in B441 at the RRAD, Texarkana, Texas. Work shall include but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1) Replacement of Fire Suppression System in Building 441. 2) Fire pump is not required but a riser room shall be added to the building.� 3) Replacement shall include PI valve (and any work required to replace the PI valve). Fire Suppression System piping (above ground) shall be appropriately primed and painted red (no 11105, Safety Red) in accordance with MIL-STD-101 and ASME (ANSI) A13.1 codes when visible, but when the pipe would not be typically visible it may be appropriately marked/banded. The complete system shall be painted or marked/banded as indicated above. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project (ii) between $1,000,000. 00 to $5,000,000. 00 Anticipated project completion date is 365 days from Notice to proceed.
