Description

The purpose of this project is to construct a permanent structure to replace current temporary trailers known as Bldgs. 57134 and 57133.�The work shall be located south of intersection N 15th St. and N 16th St. at the North Campus of Fort Hood, Texas. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer. Building(s) will not be occupied during performance of work under this Contract.� This acquisition is a100% Small Business set aside under NAICS 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $36.5 million, and will be used for this procurement.� In accordance with FAR 36/DFARs 236, the estimated construction price range for this project is: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Contractor is required to provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary to complete the scope of work for this project. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall be comply with applicable, State, Local, and Federal laws, rules, and regulations, industry & construction codes and standards, manufacturer�s specifications & recommendations, and all contact special provisions, terms, and conditions.� The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits to perform construction work on a Federal installation, be properly bonded and insured in accordance with FAR requirements.� The Wage Determination for this procurement is General Decision Number TX20200230 01-03-2020, Building, County Bell, State of Texas, will govern work under this contract. The Bid Guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000.00 whichever is less. Performance and Payment Bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. � Please see Exhibits and Attachments for details.
