- (Amendment 3 is�available)� Bldg.32 Bay M Secure Area DLA Richmond, VA. This is a solicitation.�� The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Norfolk District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the acquisition of Bldg.32 Bay M Secure Area, DLA Richmond. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding Procedures. The requirement will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a Business Standard of $39.5M. This effort will require the services of a construction firm capable of managing the renovation of Building 32 Bay M Secure Area, DLA Richmond, Virginia. The DLA Richmond Building 32 Bay M is already setup as an area to accomplish activities at the Secret level. In order to facilitate the exchange of TS/SCI level information, DLA would like to upgrade a section of this secure area to a higher security level and obtain relevant SCIF certifications for this area. The space will provide adequate space for up to 20 users within approximately 1500 square foot space provided excluding hallway and utility spaces. J6 is expected to have up to 12 and the Aviation Logistics Operations Center (ALOCK) is expected to have up to 3 people working at any given time. The design shall provide workplace seating, a conference area, and a VTC space (with room for equipment in the same space or adjacent space). The contract completion date will be 262 calendar days after notice to proceed. Contractors will be required to submit bonding documents prior to award. The Government intends to award a firm fixed priced contract to the responsible bidder whose proposal conforms to the terms of the IFB notice, is determined fair and reasonable, and is the lowest price technically acceptable to the Government as determined through an IFB Sealed bid process. � The IFB and accompanying documents will be issued electronically and will be uploaded to the SAM.GOV website (https://www.beta.sam.gov) on or about April 27, 2020 ��Telephone calls or written requests for the IFB package will NOT be accepted. �Prospective bidders are responsible for monitoring beta.sam.gov to respond to the solicitation and any amendments or other information regarding this acquisition.� Prospective bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
