Additional Q&As and any�other necessary amendments will be posted as soon as possible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for the procurement of Carrier Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (CEMAT) and Surface Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (SEMAT). These are essential to executing work on CVN 68 and CVN 78 Class Aircraft Carriers and the Surface Fleet as they provide a resource for professional systems and equipment maintenance that support�both repairs and deck-plate maintenance training (Find, Fix, and Train) for Ship's Force equipment operators and maintenance technicians. It is expected that the labor force for this contract will be performing onboard U.S. Navy vessels located around the world. Major locations include Norfolk, VA; Newport News, VA; Portsmouth, VA; San Diego, CA; Bremerton, WA; Everett, WA; and Yokosuka, Japan. This list of locations is not all inclusive and there may be work requirements in other locations. The subject requirement is being solicited as a full-and-open competition for a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an ordering period of� five (5) years.
