Description

This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is an agency within of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints United States currency and other security products.� Currency manufacturing occurs at the BEP facilities located in Washington, DC (DCF) and in Fort Worth, TX, (WCF).� BEP�s primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). The Office of Currency Manufacturing has a requirement for Cash-pak and Wrap Systems. The first system will be installed at the WCF and an optional second system will be installed at the DCF.� Contractor shall design, fabricate, assemble, integrate, deliver, install, set-up, test, and commission one (1) cash-pak system that will plastic-wrap and heat shrink a cash-pak in accordance with BEP packaging requirements.�� Contractor shall also train BEP personnel� and provide spare parts. Due to COVID-19 and facility restrictions, a site visit is not available.� However, photos are provided at Attachment 023.� Note:� Attachments designated with an asterisk (*) require a signed non-disclosure agreement. (Attachments 002, 003, 005, 006, 007, 014, 015, 019, 023) This amendment extends the due date for offers until Thursday, 17 September 2020 and addresses the following question: Question:��Our system that we would propose has a different film. If we were to propose a system it would require a film change.� Will the BEP accept a different film? Response:� No.
