SON Paragraph 3.2 ""Standby Battery"" is replaced by ""fast boot mode"". Vendor Question and Answer Matrix follows. Conformed SON is attached. Page 2 of 2 # Vendor Question Government Response 1 Question Regarding Standby Battery: Vendor noted that all of the salient characteristics are a direct match to the requested VIVID E95 system, except for the standby battery. The Vivid E95 does not offer a standby battery.  Customer feedback supports the Vivid E95 being a superior choice for portable echo due to its fast start up time (around 45 seconds) and small footprint, light weight and Wi-Fi capabilities.  The absence of the battery directly improves the weight, portability ratio. With this information considered is a standby battery a requirement? Remove standby battery and replace with fast boot mode.
