- THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO ADD A DOCUMENT IN THE ATTACHMENTS TAB WITH ALL QUESTIONS RECEIVED ALONG WITH ANSWERS. THERE ARE NO OTHER CHANGES TO THIS SOLICITATION. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 12505B20S1009131-1 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 811310�Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. This requirement is full and open. The USDA, ARS, lab in Ames, Iowa has a requirement for generator maintenance. The Government intends to award a fixed price, Base Year Plus 4 Options for the following item as identified in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): Generator maintenance, per required specifications Required specifications include all of the following: Maintenance, warranty work and load bank testing on three Generac diesel powered generators with the following specifications: 40kW, 60 kW and 175kW. All engines need the following filters changed: Oil, Fuel, Air, and Coolant. All engines need oil changed. All engines need coolant and fuel sample tests. All generators need load bank tests. All work must be completed by a licensed Generac Service provider DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: In order to be considered for award, Offerors shall provide 1) technical specifications; 2) price and 3) Company's DUNS number. REJECTION OF QUOTATION: Failure to demonstrate compliance will be cause to reject the quote without further discussions. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
