- Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020/08 effective 08/13/2020 This solicitation is set-aside for: Small Business The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336999 All other vehicle manufacturing 1500 Employees. The FSC/PSC is 2305 Ground effect transportation The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase Brand name: Toro utility 07387 HDX-D-4WD vehicle or Equal to the equal to must provide the salient characteristics listed All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Supplies/Services Line Item Description Quantity Unit of Measure 1 Toro Model: 07387 HDX-D-4WD Brand Name or Equal To 6 EA 2 5-year or 5000 hours extended warranty minimum (to be purchased up front) 1 EA Salient Characteristics for equal to The Northern Arizona VA Medical Center is needing the purchase of 6 non-highway utility vehicles to transport maintenance personnel, supplies and materials around the medical facility. A smaller stature vehicle is required to access areas with limited space. The vehicles must meet or exceed the following capabilities/specifications: Diesel-powered engine producing a minimum of 23 horsepower. Liquid cooled. 4-wheel drive 4x4 Horn Exterior and interior Mirrors Turn signal lights Capable of reaching a speed of 20 MPH. Minimum Bed Load Capacity of 2800 pounds, plus two passengers at 200 pounds each. Full cab and doors. Heating unit for the cab area. Maximum dimensions of the vehicle: Length with bed: 130 inches, Width 65 inches, Height 76 inches. GROUND DELIVERY: The facility does not have the ability to lower these items off the loading dock.
