- The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) will hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Interim Servicing Solution (ISS) on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 1:00pm � 3:00pm Eastern Time. ISS is a follow-on to the existing Title IV Additional Servicing and Not-for-Profit Servicing Contracts. ISS will expand FSA�s operational efficiency and flexibility, reduce the number of disparate systems, enhance the quality of service for customers, and allow FSA to fully leverage the Business Process Operations (BPO) Contractors.� FSA anticipates the release of the ISS Solicitation in October 2020.�� This Pre-Solicitation Conference will provide information to interested vendors about the Interim Servicing Solution, clarify some of the details of the anticipated release of the ISS Solicitation and allow FSA to solicit feedback from industry.� All interested parties are invited to participate in this event by registering at the following link:� ISS Pre-Solicitation Conference�or https://web.cvent.com/event/43830c65-7810-4781-b7e8-11c8d6ae04fb/summary?rp=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 Included with this notification you will find draft copies of the following documents that will be included with the release of the ISS Solicitation: Draft Statement of Work (SOW) Draft Service Level Methodology/Performance Metrics Draft Information Resources Program Elements (IRPE) Draft Pricing Template and Instructions In advance of the Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Interim Servicing Solution please submit any questions to NextGenFSA@ed.gov.
