- Description
- The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a requirement for large batch concrete and related materials and equipment in support of runway expansion and repair at an undisclosed Coalition base in Helmand River Valley, Afghanistan.� Specific location and site information will be provided to the successful offeror upon award.� The Government intends to solicit this requirement as an Invitation for Bids for a Firm-Fixed Price Supply Type Contract. The work consists of the supply of concrete from a localized batch plan to specified work locations on�the base in Helmland Provence, Afghanistan. The requirement also includes related materials and survey and placement equipment as outline in the attached bid schedule and equipment specifications.� The material will be placed utilizing troop labor and no labor or services will be required by the contractor beyond that required to produce, test, and transport the materials. ***Amendment 0001 incorporates clarifications addressed in RFIs***
