- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is 75N95020Q00210 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is for a commercial item and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13�Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Subpart 13.5 � Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and FAR Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Items. This acquisition is expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07, dated August 31, 2020. (iv) The associated NAICS code is 334516 and the Small Business size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is competitive and is set aside exclusively for Small Business. DESCRIPTION (v) The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) seeks a brand name or equal Waters Xevo G2-XS QTOF with ACQUITY H-Class Plus Bio System and accessories, installation, training, and service agreement. The list of items and salient characteristics are in the attached Purchase Description. (vi) A class waiver applies to the mass spectrometry system in this acquisition. (vii) Trade-In: NCATS has the following equipment to be traded in as part of this acquisition. The contractor must�remove this equipment�before the new equipment is installed. Item Description:�Time of flight MS Quantity: One (1) Model:�Agilent 6210 Serial No.�US73700922 Manufacturer:�Agilent Technologies Condition: Okay Year of Purchase: 2008 (viii)The anticipated delivery date is four (4) weeks after the date of award. Delivery shall be made to the below address, FOB Destination. Installation and training shall occur as soon as practicable after delivery, on a date and time agreed upon by NCATS and the contractor. (x)The Government plans to issue a purchase order resulting from this solicitation.
