- INTRODUCTION The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting quotes and subsequently awarding a Single Award, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order for Document Scanners, Clocks, and Barcode Readers (Brand Name Or Equal) in support of the new facility to serve the needs of Veterans in the Redding, CA area. Please note this is being issued in connection with Request for Information (RFI) 36A77620Q0383. DESCRIPTION The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting quotes and subsequently awarding a Single Award, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order for Document Scanners, Clocks, and Barcode Readers (Brand Name Or Equal) in support of the new facility to serve the needs of Veterans in the Redding, CA area. The current manufacturer is the basis for design. ADMINISTRATIVE The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation will be Full and Open Competition. The applicable NAICS code is 334118 with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 15, 2020. Offerors will be required to submit their offers electronically via email. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the issuing office by the due date and time indicated in the RFQ via email at heather.allen3@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted. The VA reserves the right to use only Contract Opportunities via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this notice and the subsequent issuance of the solicitation. It is the contractor s responsibility to view Contract Opportunities daily for any amendments to this notice and the subsequent issuance of the solicitation.
