- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Testing and Other Support Services (PL8332), Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Johnson Controls (CAGE Code: 32242), 507 E Michigan St M-93 Milwaukee, WI, 53202, for the acquisition of security access system and milestone video system maintenance for building 3600 at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Currently, existing system is a Pegasus 2000 system, which Johnson Controls is proprietor of the system. The system must be maintained to ensure the safety of the DITCO employees and contractors, protection of secure information, and maintain the building facility clearance. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform within 10 days of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors may send written correspondence to the following address: amber.m.analla.civ@mail.mil. The estimated date of award is October 1, 2020. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
