Installation includes: Installation of UHF Antenna System, Installation of 800 MHZ Antenna System Remove Consolettes from the Dispatch Area and Install in the Communications Room on the Top Floor, Reprogram Consolette Base Control Stations, Program MCD 5000 Remote Controls Installation of MCD 5000 Remote Controls in the Dispatch Area Provide and install Patch Cable between the two Consolettes that will be used for interoperability with CDC and State of Colorado Radio Systems The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order Best Tech, Inc. 1025 Sorrento Dr. San Diego, CA 921071-4802, Cage Code: 0KSB0 for the removal of old Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Installation of new UPS plus 90. The Motorola UHF radio system is a proprietary network thusthe identified equipment was rated and meet their specifications to ensure optimumcompatiability. This contract action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within Three (3) days of the issuance of this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203(1), will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
