- W912PM20B0001 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide the construction of a new steel sheet pile weir structure to elevation 58.0� NAVD 88 25� this is approximately two feet higher than the existing temporary weir built in 2015 in the city of Goldsboro, North Carolina.� The location of the new weir will be approximately 25� downstream of the City�s temporary weir. As part of construction, the original Corps� weir will be cut off below grade. The City of Goldsboro�s temporary weir will be removed during construction at the City of Goldsboro�s expense. The flood risk management benefits of the federally authorized project are not impacted. � This solicitation is un-restricted. � The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00.� This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about July�16, 2020.� The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided.�� Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 � Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $39,500,000.00.� Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
