- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION �COMBO�: Belt Loader � ***52.232-18 Availability of Funds. As prescribed in 32.706-1(a), insert the following clause: Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government�s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. (End of clause)*** � This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-20-Q-U008 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07 effective 31 August 2020, Defense Procurement Notice 20200831, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001 effective 1 October 2019. This is a Full and Open Competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333922. Davis Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: �Product Description� CLIN 0001 � Walk Behind Belt Loader��������������������������� QTY:1 EA More Details in Salient Characteristics � � Delivery of Belt Loader shall be FOB Destination. Contractor shall include delivery schedule information on the Pricing Schedule. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote meets lowest price and technical acceptability. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror�s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) Questions are due by 17 Sep 2020, 2:00 PM. (NO questions will be considered after the questions due date.) Answers will be provided by 18 Sep 2020, 2:00 PM.
