Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES The Mission & Installation Contracting Command-Fort Bragg, Fort Bragg NC, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Time Warner Cable Enterprises LLC Time Warner Cable Enterprises LLC, DBA Time Warner, 400 Atlantica St STE 6, Stamford, CT 06901-3533. �The contractor shall provide Provide and maintain Broadband, Pro Idiom TV, Internet and Patient Wireless Service at WAMC Main Campus, Outline Clinics, Medical Homes and Administrative Buildings. Provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform operations necessary for providing Cable Television, Pro Idiom TV, Internet and Patient Wireless Service at WAMC. The NAICS code is 517311 with a small business standard of 1,500.The anticipated period of performance will be for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. Under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 6.302-1(c), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and brand name descriptions and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. � A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. As evidenced in the sole source justification provided by the requiring activity there is only one contractor that has the specific qualifications that meet the peculiar requirements of this contract. The qualifications for this type of service requires the vendor to have an existing agreement with Fort Bragg to provide cable and internet services as shown in that attached Sole Source Justification. �See the attached Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition for additional information regarding the sole source determination. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
