Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - DIASORIN The Fort Gordon Contracting Cell intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Diasorin, Inc., 1951, Northwestern Avenue, Stillwater, Minnesota 55082-7536. The NAICS Code is 325413 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. This is a requirement for the lease of immuno chemistry analyzers, reagents and supplies. The analyzers are currently installed at the Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia. The vendor will continue to provide two analyzers, reagents and supplies in support of the Pathology Department. The proposed contract for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source is under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The analyzers and reagents are proprietary to Diasorin, Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication ofthis synopsis will be considered by the Government for future opportunities. A J&A for this award will be posted 14 days after award.
