Description
DLA Land and Maritime will issue a solicitation to establish a long-term contract for the NSNs on the attached spreadsheet. The AMC/AMSC code, approved sources, and Annual Demand Quantities are on the attached spreadsheet. �The subject solicitation will be issued approximately on October 13, 2020. The attached Product Item Description provides information concerning the subject requirements. Please review the Market Research Questionnaire and Spreadsheet (which is included in this posting) for the NSNs and provide any source that may be able to manufacture this NSN. This notice provides the opportunity for contractors interested in becoming qualified as a source to provide the subject NSNs. �All information may be submitted directly to the Contract Specialist Michael Shirley at Michael.Shirley@dla.mil. This information must be provided by the response date. Descsription: NSN 2520011517825: Propeller Shaft: A VEHICULAR ITEM WITH A UNIVERSAL JOINT ON ONE OR BOTH ENDS. FOR ITEMS WITH ONE UNIVERSAL JOINT, THE OPPOSITE END MAY HAVE A YOKE, A YOKE WITH A SPIDER, OR A SHAFT. FOR ITEMS WITHOUT A UNIVERSAL JOINT SEE PROPELLER SHAFT (AS MODIFIED). NSN 2520014131975: Universal Joint-A FLEXIBLE CONNECTION DESIGNED FOR VEHICULAR APPLICATIONS WHICH PERMITS ROTARY MOTION TO BE TRANSMITTED BETWEEN TWO SHAFTS LOCATED AT AN ANGLE TO EACH OTHER.
