- This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building B20754 Shade Structure.� The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements.� Demolition Contractor shall prep site at the North paved area of B20754 indicated in attached image for new 20�x55�x12� shade structure Contractor shall excavate remove asphalt, level and compact as required for footings and new crusher fines.� �Monitoring well� to remain, protect. Contractor to provide install temporary construction safety fence along perimeter of hill ridge maintain during construction. Construction Contractor shall preform all necessary site investigations/soil testing for footings. Contractor shall provide NM engineered stamped drawings for this structure and associated footings. Shade Structures must meet all load specifications for Air Force/KAFB and Albuquerque, NM building codes and regulations, to include soil study. Contractor shall provide and install all materials required to place footings according to provided engineered drawings and must meet specification of PEMS. Contractor shall provide and install a pre-engineered (PEMS) Shade Structure/Canopy 20�x55�x12� on the paved area North side of building20754, see location indicated in attached image. This structure will have no side panels or horizontal support members below the roof elevation.� Place minimum of 5� from building structure and must not be within 10� of the edge or pavement. See attached rendering/image. Contractor Shall Paint all metal Frame of PEMS, color must meet KAFB standards and be approved by the users. Contractor will provide and install 4� of crusher fines compacted in area below shade structure with appropriate edging.
