- Description
- This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 412 Repair Room 144e. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements. a. Contractor shall, prior to the start of construction, complete a comprehensive ACM/LBP survey of the construction area to include drywall, caulking, ductwork, electrical insulation, and interior paint. The contractor shall then submit this report to USACE for review prior to continuing work. b. The contractor shall then abate all areas identified in the asbestos report that have positive test results. c. Contractor shall secure all wires. d. Contractor shall patch and paint the color which the color will be determined by the user. e. Contractor shall cover and protect the wall mounted equipment during the duration of construction. f. Existing wall connectors must be patched, and all penetrations sealed along with the holes, dents. The paint color will be determined by the user. g. Contractor shall remove the existing flooring identified in the drawings. Once the flooring is removed the area must be abated as per the test results. h. Contractor shall leave the existing wood ledge and seal each end at the wall penetrations with a continuous bead of paintable sealant. i. Contractor shall remove the metal threshold identified in the drawings. j. Contractor will need to provide and install a new dedicated power outlet for the location of the Advantor Alarm Panel. The contractor shall use the circuit from UPS Panel 1 or 2. The contractor will need to provide a di-electric union at the wall penetration and seal as per DOD 5200.01 Vol 3. k. Contractor shall patch and level the existing concrete floor, then prep for epoxy. l. Contractor shall apply medium grade garage epoxy floor paint with low VOC and color to be determined by the user. m. Contractor shall purchase and install a new X10 combination lock and strike, new trilogy (or approved equal) lock with lever handle and key override on the existing door identified in the drawings. Contractor shall provide two keys. n. Contractor will need to install a metal threshold that is compatible with the contractor provided and install drop down seal to door. o. Contractor shall replace or make existing hinges non-removable, then repaint the door to match the existing. p. Contractor shall provide and install one new Level two high security switch and terminate electrical connection at the device and leave enough at the Alarm panel location for termination by others. q. Contractor shall provide and install one Advantor and 377th MSG/Security forces approved motion sensor and terminate electrical connection at the device and leave enough at the Alarm Panel for termination by others. r. Contractor shall provide and install two new di-electric sleeve�s for wall penetrations for power and fiber. Contractor must seal full perimeter of sleeve�s and foam fill once all electrical and fiber has been pulled. s. Contractor must provide and install 12� wide wire mesh cable tray as indicated on drawings. t. Contractor shall remove the existing lights and provide and install new 1�x4� LED lights on existing circuit. Contractor will then need to patch holes and prep ceiling for new paint. Paint color will be selected by the user. u. Contractor shall remove the existing light switch and replace with new occupancy sensor switch and face plate. v. Contractor will need to provide and install all power as indicated on the drawings and in accordance with current code.
