- Please read all documents attached very carefully.� If you have any questions make sure to e-mail the POCs listed below as soon as possible. ____________________________ The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on behalf of Joint�Munitions Technology Command (JMTC), is��issueing�a competitive�Request for Proposal (RFP), W9098S-20-R-0002. The RFP for�the Metal Working and Machine Shop Set (MWMSS) Vendor Managed�Inventory (VMI) will be issued under full and open competition using a best value evaluation approach in accordance with Federal Regulation�(FAR) 15.101. The RFP will solicit proposals for one (1) Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery�Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. A total guaranteed minimum quantity of�one (1) each for the two (2) CLIN types is anticipated with an estimated�maximum of 120 over five (5) years. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be an attachment. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM)�database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this�RFP. Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration by visiting:�https://www.acquisition.gov. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any�amendments thereafter. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a�bidder's mailing list. It is therefore, incumbent upon interested parties to�periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain�any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said�amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal�nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
