Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), Expeditionary Maneuver Support Directorate (EMSD) intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements � One Evaluation Kit for a 200W Wireless Charging System. A kit for wireless charging is needed to power equipment and recharge their batteries with no connections (wireless) to the power source. This product will we used to evaluate power demand and wireless options available inside a command post to speed up setup and takedown times to enhance mobility of command post. Performance Requirements include: System must be able to deliver a minimum of 90W of useful power with an efficiency of greater than 80% and must be able to have more than one device connected at a time via a wireless interphase (either inductive or contact) Supplier Requirements include: Deliver minimum 90W Efficiency ? 80 % Fit on a field desktop (typ. 24� x 36�) without interfering with equipment in use Be able to power more than one piece of equipment at a time Natick Contracting is anticipating awarding this contract to Xentris Wireless, LLC, 1250 Greenbriar Dr Ste A, Addison, IL, 60101-1098. Xentris Wireless, LLC is the only known source that can supply the Evaluation Kit for a 200W Wireless Charging System and it is proprietary to Xentris Wireless, LLC. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued. This is not a request for quotes.� No solicitation package is available.� Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
