W912EP19D0044, Southwind Construction Corp W912EP19D0045, Gator Dredging � PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS INCLUDED IN THE GROUP 2 DREDGING MATOC POOL. � DESCRIPTION OF WORK: � The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, requires a contract for removal of shoaled material that has accumulated in the channels since the various areas were last dredged.� Dredging depth is 12� required depth plus 2� of allowable overdepth for the AIWW channels.� The total estimated quantity of material to be dredged is 355,000 cubic yards. Placement of dredged material will be on approved ocean beaches. All dredging shall be performed by hydraulic cutter suction dredge. There is no environmental dredging window for the AIWW channels. However, the environmental dredging window for the Channels to Jacksonville is 1 January to 31 March.� The environmental window for placement of dredged material on ocean beaches extends from 16 November to 31 March or from 16 November to 30 April depending on the beach placement area location. Project Location: The project is located in Beaufort, Carteret, Onslow and Pender Counties, North Carolina NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30.0 million.� Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The request for proposal is estimated to be issued on or around September 15, 2020 with proposals due on or around October 1, 2020, 11AM, local time. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA).� The technical evaluation factors are Availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment. � Past Performance Price The Request for Proposals will be submitted to those within the MATOC pool above and will not be posted to beta.sam.gov. MATOC Contract holders - See request for proposals for submission requirements. RFP will be sent via email to those companies listed above utilizing contact information provided by the MATOC contract Government administrators. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.� This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only.� No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc.) will be provided.
